Privacy policy — HeruCallStop

Effective 19 September 2026.

In short: the HeruCallStop app collects nothing and sends nothing. No account, no server, no tracker, no advertising.

This policy applies to the HeruCallStop application (identifier com.herughul.herucallstop), published by ZORGLON, SIREN 130054380, under the HERUGHUL brand. It explains what the app does with your data.

1. Who publishes the app

The app is published by ZORGLON, SIREN 130054380, under the HERUGHUL brand. Data controller and contact for any privacy question: contact@herughul.com. Full legal information is available in the legal notice (in French).

2. What the app does not do

  • No user account of any kind.
  • No data sent to any server: the app talks to no remote service, ours or anyone else's.
  • No advertising, no trackers, no analytics.
  • No sale, sharing or transfer of data to anyone.
  • No data held by the publisher, since none reaches it.

3. What stays on your device

To do its job, HeruCallStop processes locally, on your phone only:

  • the incoming number examined, at the moment the call arrives;
  • the contact name when that number is in your contacts;
  • the local journal of the last 200 screened calls, with each decision and its reason;
  • your settings: blocked ranges, blocked countries, custom prefixes, theme and language;
  • counters of filtered calls, and the first-install date used for the fifteen-day trial.

This information is stored in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. It never leaves the device.

4. Permissions, and why

  • Call screening role (Android): without it, no call can be examined before it rings. This is the core of the app.
  • Contacts access: to recognise a contact and never block one.
  • Notifications: to tell you, quietly, that a call was just filtered, and for the daily summary if you turn it on. Off by default.

The app does not use your location, microphone, camera or calendar, and does not read your messages.

5. The optional purchase

The app is free and complete. A one-time €0.99 purchase is offered as a thank-you and unlocks nothing. It is handled by Google Play: the payment, your identity and your payment details are processed by Google under its own privacy policy. The app only receives whether the purchase was made, and stores that on the device.

6. Retention and deletion

The local journal is capped at the last 200 calls; older entries are replaced automatically. You can clear it from within the app at any time.

Uninstalling the app permanently erases all data it held; there is no remote account to delete and no copy kept elsewhere.

7. Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding your personal data. Since the app collects and transmits nothing, those rights are exercised directly on your device: everything is visible in the app, and uninstalling erases it. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr.

8. Children

The app is not intended for children and collects no data about them, as it collects none about anyone.

9. Changes to this policy

Any change to the app that affects this document will be published on this page, with a new effective date. The version published here prevails. The French version is the reference text.
